Lift, Tighten & Rejuvenate Without a Single Incision
Time moves forward. Your face does not have to. At One Aesthetics, HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) delivers the most clinically advanced non-surgical facelift available today — lifting sagging skin, tightening the jawline, and restoring youthful contours with zero surgery, zero incisions, and zero downtime.
HIFU works at the deepest structural layer of the skin — the same layer targeted in surgical facelifts — using precisely focused ultrasound energy to stimulate your body's own collagen production from within. The result is a natural, progressive lift that improves for up to six months after a single session and lasts up to 18 months.
HIFU — High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound — is an FDA-cleared, clinically proven non-surgical treatment that uses focused beams of ultrasound energy to penetrate deep beneath the skin surface, targeting the SMAS layer (Superficial Musculo-Aponeurotic System) — the same foundational tissue layer that surgeons tighten during a traditional facelift.
By delivering precise thermal energy at specific depths (1.5mm, 3mm, and 4.5mm), HIFU triggers a powerful biological response: the production of new collagen and elastin fibres. This collagen
remodelling process causes the skin and underlying tissue to gradually lift, tighten, and firm — from the inside out — over the weeks and months following treatment.
Unlike topical anti-aging products that work on the surface, or dermal fillers that add volume, HIFU creates a genuine structural change in the tissue architecture of your face — producing a lift that is natural, progressive, and long-lasting.
A lifted, firmer, more youthful face — achieved entirely by your own biology, without surgery, without downtime, and without compromise. HIFU at One Aesthetics delivers exactly that. Your transformation develops gradually and naturally over the months following a single session — and the results speak for themselves.

HIFU stands for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound. It uses precisely focused beams of ultrasound energy to penetrate the deep layers of the skin — specifically the SMAS layer at 4.5mm depth — and create controlled thermal coagulation points that trigger the body's collagen production response. The result is a gradual structural lift and tightening of the face, neck, and body — produced entirely by your own biology, with no surgery, no injections, and no downtime.
Yes — HIFU is often called an 'ultrasound facelift' or 'non-surgical facelift' because it targets the same tissue layer as a surgical facelift (the SMAS) and produces a genuine lifting effect in that foundational layer. The key difference is that HIFU achieves this through focused ultrasound energy rather than incisions — delivering results without surgery, anaesthetic, or recovery time. While the results of HIFU are not as dramatic as a surgical facelift, for mild to moderate laxity, they are often remarkably close — and many clients prefer the natural, gradual improvement.
HIFU involves some discomfort — more than a facial, less than surgery. Most clients describe the sensation as a warm tingling or brief prickling at each energy pulse as the ultrasound reaches the deeper tissue layers. The intensity varies by treatment area — the bony areas of the cheeks and forehead tend to feel more intense than the softer cheek areas. At One Aesthetics, we apply a topical numbing cream 30–45 minutes before treatment which significantly reduces discomfort. Pain relief medications such as paracetamol may also be taken before the session. The vast majority of our clients complete the treatment very comfortably.
A full face and neck HIFU session at One Aesthetics takes 60–90 minutes including preparation. Targeted zone treatments (e.g., jawline only, neck only, brow lift) take 30–45 minutes. Additionally, the topical numbing cream requires 30–45 minutes to take full effect, so please allow a total of approximately 90–120 minutes for a full face session from arrival to departure.
Most clients achieve excellent results with a single HIFU session — which is one of HIFU's most compelling advantages over treatments that require repeated sessions. For clients with more advanced laxity, a second session 4–6 months after the first may be recommended to build on results. An annual maintenance session is advised to sustain the collagen remodelling effect and prevent further laxity from developing. Your specialist will assess your skin at consultation and give you a precise recommendation.
HIFU produces results in two stages. You may notice a mild initial tightening on the day of treatment — this is the immediate thermal contraction of existing collagen. The more significant and lasting results develop progressively over the following 3–6 months as new collagen is produced. Most clients see the most noticeable improvement at the 3-month mark. Peak results are reached at 4–6 months. Because the changes are gradual and your own biology is producing them, the results look entirely natural — nobody can tell you have had a treatment.
HIFU results typically last 12–18 months from a single session, after which the natural aging process gradually resumes. An annual maintenance session is recommended to sustain and build upon your results. The longevity of your results is influenced by several factors: your age, skin quality, lifestyle, sun protection habits, and whether you maintain your results with skincare and complementary treatments. Your specialist will design a long-term maintenance plan during your consultation.
Yes — HIFU is completely safe for all skin tones, including South Asian, olive, and darker complexions. This is one of HIFU's significant advantages over many laser-based lifting treatments, which carry a risk of hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation on darker skin. HIFU bypasses the skin surface entirely — the ultrasound energy passes through the outer layers without affecting melanin — and delivers its effect deep in the tissue below. There is no risk of pigmentation change, burn marks, or surface damage associated with HIFU on any skin tone.
HIFU has minimal downtime — most clients return to work, social engagements, and daily activities on the same day or the following day. Immediately after treatment, the skin may appear slightly flushed or feel mildly warm, and there may be slight swelling or tenderness in the treated area. These effects are entirely normal and typically resolve within 24–72 hours. Some clients experience mild swelling for up to a week in the lower face and neck areas. Occasional mild bruising is possible but uncommon. None of these effects are severe or disabling — most clients go about their lives entirely normally after treatment.
Yes — HIFU combines very effectively with other aesthetic treatments for a comprehensive facial rejuvenation approach. At One Aesthetics, we often design multi-modal protocols that maximise results at each layer of the face. Excellent combinations include HIFU + dermal fillers (HIFU lifts the structure while fillers restore lost volume), HIFU + Botox (HIFU tightens the skin while Botox relaxes dynamic wrinkles), HIFU + PRP (PRP improves skin quality while HIFU provides the structural lift), and HIFU + HydraFacial (surface radiance paired with deep lifting). Timing between treatments matters — your specialist will design the optimal sequence.
For mild to moderate laxity, HIFU can produce results that closely rival a facelift — without surgery, anaesthetic, or recovery. Many clients who might previously have considered surgery are now choosing HIFU and are extremely satisfied with their outcomes. However, HIFU is not a substitute for surgical correction in cases of severe, advanced laxity where significant redundant skin needs to be physically removed. In those cases, surgery may be the only option to achieve the desired correction. Your specialist at One Aesthetics will assess your skin honestly and tell you which approach is most appropriate for your specific degree of laxity.
Yes — with a timing consideration. We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks after Botox or dermal filler injections before receiving HIFU in the same area. This allows the injectables to fully settle and integrate, and avoids any theoretical risk of the ultrasound energy dispersing the filler product. After the 2-week window, HIFU is not only safe alongside fillers and Botox but is often performed as part of a combination rejuvenation protocol — with excellent synergistic results.
Yes — HIFU body treatments use a deeper applicator (8mm) designed to penetrate the SMAS-equivalent layer in body areas, tightening loose skin and improving contour on the abdomen, inner and outer thighs, upper arms, knees, and buttocks. HIFU body treatment is particularly popular for post-pregnancy abdominal skin laxity and post-weight-loss skin tightening. It does not remove fat — it specifically addresses skin tightness and firmness. For clients with both skin laxity and fat deposits, HIFU body can be combined with body contouring treatments for comprehensive results.
Both HIFU and radiofrequency (RF) tighten skin by stimulating collagen production through heat — but they differ fundamentally in the depth and precision of energy delivery. RF heats the dermis and superficial subcutaneous layer — typically to 1–2mm depth. It is effective for improving skin texture, fine lines, and mild laxity. HIFU penetrates significantly deeper — to 4.5mm — reaching the SMAS layer and producing a structural lift that RF simply cannot achieve. For mild skin texture concerns, RF is excellent. For lifting and firming of deeper tissue, HIFU is the more powerful choice. Many clients benefit from both — RF for maintenance and surface quality, HIFU for structural lifting.
Light activity is fine on the day of treatment. However, we recommend avoiding vigorous exercise, hot yoga, saunas, and steam rooms for 24–48 hours post-HIFU. Intense heat and elevated body temperature can prolong the mild flushing and sensitivity in the treated area. After 48 hours, all normal physical activity can be resumed fully. Staying well-hydrated during the post-treatment period is encouraged and supports the collagen remodelling process.
At One Aesthetics, HIFU is performed exclusively by certified aesthetic practitioners using a medical-grade, FDA-cleared device with real-time ultrasound imaging — a feature that less reputable providers omit, reducing both safety and precision. We treat every HIFU client as a unique case — mapping treatment zones, depths, and intensity settings individually rather than applying a generic protocol. Our approach is honest: if HIFU is not the right treatment for your degree of laxity, we will tell you and recommend a more suitable alternative. Our goal is your genuine, long-term satisfaction — not a short-term sale. One Aesthetics is where Lahore's most discerning clients come for results that are real, natural, and lasting.
